First rule is that only staff members, can have dragons unless you have picked a canon character which has a dragon, there are 4 people that have dragons, Eragon, Murtagh, Galbatorix and Oromis. You will however be able to have a dragon if you remain loyal to this site, by staying active, if you are active for at least 1 month and have over 100 posts you will be allowed a dragon, however your dragon egg must be found in a remote area such as the spine.
Oromis's dragon Glaedr is unable to fight, but is huge and has great wisdom, your own dragons will be taught by him, and when you become a rider you will be taght by Oromis, if no-one has take his role by then I will do it.
there are 3 playable races in this RPG they are humans Elves and Dwarves here are there traits.
Humans: are just like normal humans.
Elves: Are immortal, they cannot die by old age and they stay looking young, they are always attractive and humans tend to fall for their beauty. They are quicker, stronger more nimble and agile than humans, although they hide their emotions and don't eat meat, they have the trademark pointy ears.
Dwarves: are shorter than both humans and elves but are incredibly strong and weild tough weapons, they also are very good a forging weapons and finding metals to work with.
So the main rules...
Please don't swear OC and not in the C-box bu mild language is permitted IC.
no double posting IC use the modify button!!
No god-moding or powerplaying, so you're character is not indestructable, they will not be able to block every single attack that is thrown at them. And it also includes not being able to bend the surroundings to suit you, if you are in the desert an oasis can't just magicly pop up stuff like that.
Be nice to everone if there is a problem please contact me or another member of staff!
Only 1 character per account, and 3 accounts per person.
Dragons must grow slowly, not just hatch and then all of a sudden grow into a massive dragon.
You must pick form 3 sides, Varden Empire or neutral.
A member of the Varden should not enter the capital unless they are doing spy-work for the Varden or they have been captured by the empire, same applies with the Empire.
Only elves can enter Ellesmera. A human can enter if they are with an elf and dwarves cannot unless they have express permission from Izlanzadi or Arya.
Elves cannot enter Farthen Dur or the city within it witout express permission from a high rank dwarf.
The password to the character board is eragontherider
I will make announcements on when the empire attacks the varden camp, disaters, bad weather stuff like that.
Dragons can use magic, as well as breath fire, ice, water and electricity, depending on the dragon however it will have a strongest and weakes element for example strongest:fire Weakest:Ice or vice versa, or strongest:electricity weakest:water or again vice versa the other 2 will be in the middle.
Elves and humans can use magic, but elves are more skilled than humans and dwarves are also very skilled with magic.
races will be separated into groups,
Warriors-
People that fight either for a living, out of nessesity or just for fun, they are born skilled at close range combat, and don't mind a good brawl. They are not however usually very sklled with magic, unless of course they are an elf.
spellcasters-Skilled with magic, some however more than others
herbalists-Use herbs for illnesses, poisons etc.
archers-Skilled with a bow and arrow, very good at long range attacks, but not as good close range.
and finally
Riders-Skilled with both Colse and long range attacks as well as magic, the ultimate fighting machine.
If you feel I have missed anything out do not hesitate to contact me about it!
